Skie has been in the Philippines for a little over a year now, and we’re excited to grow our team and capacity in FY25. To prepare for this growth and investment in the region, our Technical Director, David Gallirhir, and I visited Manila to spend some time with the team, hold some training sessions and workshops, and generally get a sense of the culture and feel of the team!
It was a great few days to connect and lay solid foundations for an ambitious growth agenda. Our sessions focused on advancing the teams’ consulting and business analytics skills, working through integration and custom development scenarios, and better preparing them for working on various aspects of our clients’ solutions. While our Philippine-based team is currently a modest 5 people, we plan to expand this greatly over the next 12 months. Expansion in the region will allow Skie to provide growth opportunities to our existing team and space for wonderful new people to join our team and deliver exceptional value and solutions to our clients across APAC.
We capped off our time in Manila with a fun afternoon of bowling and some great food!
